Top Japanese porn star Suzume Mino to marry comedian Akihiro Tabuchi?

We begin 2023 with some pleasant news — or perhaps disappointing tiding to certain fans.

According to news reports, the prominent Japanese porn star Suzume Mino is to marry the comedian Akihiro Tabuchi.

Tabuchi (37), of the comedy duo Indians, will apparently tie the knot with Suzume Mino some time during 2023, according to news reports on January 1.

Their courtship is not news per se. It emerged in the summer that the two were dating, as reported on this blog.

Mino is now 26. She made her debut in 2019 and is wildly popular for her G-cup breasts. We presume she will retire shortly before or after her marriage, since very few female performers continue in adult video after they become a spouse.

But the plot thickens. Tabuchi has since completely denied the news reports, whose source is unknown, so we don’t know what is true anymore. Mino has not made any public statement, as far as we can tell.

Fake news swiftly becomes old news. Perhaps the news should actually have first come out on April 1, not January 1? (On the other hand, there was another, genuine marriage announcement on January 1: the actress Tao Tsuchiya is to marry the Exiles singer Ryota Katayose, and is pregnant with his child.)

Last year, the former porn star Risa Naruse (Haruna Aisaka) also married a comedian. Another ex-AV star, Nanami Kawakami, also announced her marriage (and pregnancy) earlier in the year.

As the cases of Runa Shimotsuki, Makoto Yuuki, and Kana Momonogi have also proved, being a comedian is a surefire way in Japan of attracting porn stars.
