Shioli Kutsuna shows off nude body with tattoos in The Outsider sex scenes
For those readers who don’t have a Netflix subscription or missed the publicity, they may not have seen The Outsider, in which Jared Leto plays the titular character who becomes involved in the Yakuza in postwar Japan.
Well, judging by the tepid response the film has attracted so far, you may not want to see it — unless, that is, you count yourself among beautiful co-star Shioli Kutsuna’s legions of fans and want to see her naked.
The lovely, innocent-looking Shioli Kutsuna (or Shiori Kutsuna) gets as close to actual nudity as she ever has (as far as we know). Incidentally, Kutsuna is a returnee, having grown up abroad, and speaks fluent English. Also, despite playing Leto’s local lover in the movie, she’s about half his age — which is sure to stir many a fortysomething gaijin’s fantasies.
Shioli Kutsuna has two nude sex scenes in The Outsider. All right, we’re being a little clickbaity and playing fast and loose with our choice of words. She’s only nude in spirit, so to speak: you see plenty of skin as she lies on the futon post-coital but only the barest hint (no pun intended) of a butt crack.
Here are the highlights, alluring in their subtle way.
Sadly, then, the sex scenes are not much to write home about, but we shouldn’t be surprised given how Kutsuna’s career has been largely built around her girl-next-door looks. Her agency wouldn’t want to spoil all that for some of Netflix’s gaijin cash.
Fear not, Kutsuna does display flesh — and what flesh it is: a naked back covered in tattoos, which we know can be super sexy on Japanese girls. Asuka Kishi showed us this last year, as did Anne Suzuki and Yuriko Yoshitaka in nude sex scenes some years ago.
The film itself has received terrible one-star reviews for perpetuating stereotypes about Japan and Hollywood’s white savior trope.
