Ex-NMB48 idol Momoka Kinoshita now sports full-body tattoos
Momoka Kinoshita is a 29-year-old singer-songwriter and former member of Osaka-based idol group NMB48.
She has done a lot and changed a lot since her time with the group, where members have to pretend to be purer-than-pure.
She now sports a grungier look and has tattoos running across her whole body.

A recent TV appearance on Abema brought renewed attention to the musician, who today plays under the stage name of Bukkoro Momoka.

Back when she was Kinoshita, she passed the audition for NMB48 in 2010 and debuted in early 2011. She was active as a member of the group until spring 2017.
She has had tattoos since 2020. Along with the various colors she has dyed her hair over the years, she has certainly drawn a line between her current career and her former one as a member of NMB48. Although to be fair, she sported dyed hair even back in NMB48, and already had a look that was closer to Takarazuka Revue than Yasushi Akimoto!

Bukkoro Momoka’s next gig is on October 12 at Spotify O-Nest in Shibuya.
Tattoos can be divisive in Japan, though increasing numbers of female celebrities are openly inked. Perhaps the most high-profile recent example is model and actress Ayaka Miyoshi, whose tattoo is also large and provocatively placed on her back. For our money, we think Momoka Kinoshita looks amazing with her tattoos.
