Momoka Kinoshita is a 29-year-old singer-songwriter and former member of Osaka-based idol group NMB48.
She has done a lot and changed a lot since her time with the group, where members have to pretend to be purer-than-pure.
She now sports a grungier look and has tattoos running across her whole body.
A recent TV appearance on Abema brought renewed attention to the musician, who today plays under the stage name of Bukkoro Momoka.
Back when she was Kinoshita, she passed the audition for NMB48 in 2010 and debuted in early 2011. She was active as a member of the group until spring ...
The second photo book by Cocona Umeyama came out earlier this month and has already set the interwebs on fire in just a few days.
As reported here in July, the ex-NMB48 idol's second publication is a nude release.
Umeyama is a former member of the Osaka-based girl group NMB48 (from 20216 to 2022) as well as of spin-off music group Lapis Arch.
She is clearly trying to establish a name for herself in the competitive world of music idols seeking to build a career after leaving the safety net of their group by taking a more provocative approach in COCOIRO, which features her taking off her ...
Cocona Umeyama is a former member of Osaka-based girl group NMB48 (from 20216 to 2022) as well as of spin-off music group Lapis Arch.
The Osaka native released a photo book in 2022 and is now set to release a second this August, and in which she is upping the ante in an effort to boost her career as the 22-year-old former idol seeks to establish herself as an actor.
Whereas her previous photo book just featured her in swimwear, COCOIRO is more lavish in terms of both aesthetic and budget.
Shot on location in Cebu, the star poses nude with her hands covering her breasts, showing off her ...
The sisters Kei and Rei Jonishi have posed together for a sensual gravure photo shoot for Weekly Playboy featuring the two idols in alluring lingerie and swimwear.
Kei Jonishi is the older of the sisters, now 31 years and a member of Osaka music group NMB48 from 2010 to 2017. She has since done work as a model but has left a couple of agencies, and hasn't released a solo photo book (digital or print) for a few years.
Rei Jonishi is still just 24 years old and also a member of NMB48 since 2016. She released her most recent print photo book in March last year, and also features in the ...
On October 13, NMB48 announced that Fuuwa Kuroda (黒田楓和) was to leave the music group with her graduation performance being on October 26 and last official day as a member on November 5.
However, on October 28, the group announced that Kuroda will instead leave with immediate effect, and won't attend three hand-shaking events as planned on October 29, November 4, and November 5.
Health issues are nominally cited as the reason, but Japanese netizens have speculated that the real reason is much darker.
It is alleged that the 19-year-old made a sex tape with her boyfriend, which has ...
Former NMB48 idol Miyuki Watanabe has released a new photo book, Dappi, marking what seems to be a somewhat maturer look and more sensual development in her career as she enters a new stage in life.
Also a one-time member of SKE48 and AKB48, Watanabe (known as Miruki to her fans) left NMB48 in 2016. She turned 30 earlier this week. Since leaving the music group, she has worked as a model and launched a music career as a solo artist and member of girl group Ange et Folletta.
Dappi is her fifth book and marks the latest stage in this more adult part of her career.
Last year, she ...
Akane Takiyama (瀧山あかね) is the latest Japanese TV announcer trying to forge a concurrent career in gravure.
She works as an announcer for shows on ABEMA (she joined the streamer in 2018) and is a former NMB48 "research student" (in 2011 and 2012, while in high school). The 29-year-old has now branched out into gravure with a cover shoot for Weekly Playboy that is making waves and rapidly expanding her fandom.
In the summery swimwear shoot for a June issue of Weekly Playboy, she is channeling some Kyoko Fukada vibes with a sporty beach body and radiant, smiling ...
One of the most popular members of NMB48, Yuzuha Hongo made the surprise announcement on April 4 that she would be graduating the Osaka group.
Alongside her singing, Hongo pursues a burgeoning career in gravure (as reported before), having released her first photo book from Kodansha in 2022.
A second photo book is set for release at the end of May, shortly before she will graduate from NMB48.
Known as Yuzu to her fans, the idol is still just 20 years old and seems very young to graduate (though she joined way back in 2015, so has devoted eight years of her life to the Namba-based group). ...
Sumire Yokono suddenly left NMB48 in May 2021 -- shortly after a report broke that went to a hotel with a male celebrity twice her age. Even more shockingly, she was also spotted on a date (six days later) with yet another boyband member, with whom she also spent the night at an expensive hotel.
The resulting scandal sunk her NMB future.
After a year off, the 21-year-old relaunched her career in May this year.
Su-chan is now trying to go it on her own (with a little help from a major modeling agency). She is carving out a career as a gradol and model, and is succeeding: three gravure cover ...
Fans of former NMB48 (and AKB48) idol Miyuki Watanabe are in for a real treat.
The cute idol, who left NMB48 in 2016, previously delighted us with her lingerie shoot for Peach John in 2020. The year before that, her photo book featured semi-nude shots of her with her arms held against her chest.
This latest photo shoot is a similar kind of semi-nude wonder, with the 28-year-old turned to look alluringly at the camera, her arm covering her modest breasts, and showing off plenty of bare back and leg.
The shoot is for the current (December) issue of fashion and beauty magazine Bijin Hyakka. ...
