Gaming site becomes high school girl prostitution portal

They say that too much gaming is bad for you and there could be some truth to that.

Kanagawa police have arrested Masahiro Odakura, 24, on charges of child prostitution. Odakura worked as a press operator in ‘burbs land, Saitama.

Perhaps eager to escape the boredom of arguably Japan’s dullest prefecture, he allegedly in June he had sex with a high school girl — at the time a mere, ripe 16 — in a love hotel. He paid the lady 10,000 yen, or around $130.

Here’s the interesting thing. He met her not through a deai “encounter” site, kami-machi site, online forum, or any of the usual means of enjo kosai. (Salarymen used to just be able to meet students waiting outside stations.) He used Mobage, one of the most popular social media in Japan and actually a gaming portal. He met the student online last December and they exchanged mails, eventually leading six months later to the alleged incident.

It’s strange because it was only a few months ago that we were reporting on how social media was helping to “save” Japan against prostitution. How fickle the internet is!

Presumably he was caught because the young lady in question went to the police. His excuse to the police? “I like younger girls.” Well, I reckon that should be a perfectly valid excuse in court, don’t you?

Drool Fetish Man Arrested

A man has been arrested in Tokyo for having three schoolgirls spit out saliva and filming them in the process. Toshihiko Mizuno, a jobless 55-year-old, was taken in on suspicion of “habitual indecency,” which carries a penalty of up to one year in jail or a fine of one million yen ($12,400), a statement from the Metropolitan Police Department said.

Mizuno had separately approached three girls, aged nine and ten, in October and December of last year, either outside apartment towers or in the street. His modus operandi was to claim that he was conducting research on saliva and was in need of samples. “He videotaped them as they spat out saliva. He also asked them to open their mouths and filmed their mouth interiors and tongues,” a Metropolitan Police Department official said. “He has done so habitually to satisfy his sexual desire.” Police sources have also been quoted as saying that Mizuno approached about 4,000 young girls, and managed to collect saliva from about 500 of them, over a period of 17 years in Tokyo and Saitama. A search of his house uncovered 26 videotapes showing more than 200 girls, news agencies said.

While there’s no denying Mr. Mizuno’s commitment to his perversion, he certainly went about satisfying it the wrong way. Once inside, the college student entered, forced the businessman down and hand cuffed him. The two accomplices got about ￥20,000 ($220) and then took his ATM card and took another ￥500,000 ($6000) from his bank account.

Now I understand that he was in a sticky situation, but the reports say nothing about weapons. At what point did he tell them his ATM code? The couple was captured and the college student arrested. No word on whether the businessman got back any of his money. But this just goes to show you, if you find a cute high school girl on a dating website, by all means go on the date, but make sure you are the one doing the hand cuffing and don’t let any other guys in the room, unless that’s your thing of course. Who am I to judge.

Riko Yamaguchi: JAV Idol to watch in 2011

Extreme sexual acts in anime and manga to get screwed over

A new ordinance has been passed by the Japanese government stating that extreme sexual acts such as rape, incest and other illegal sexual acts in anime and manga will be regulated as of April of 2011.

The Japan Times reports that while the ordinance is not a law, the industry will be forced to “self-regulate” any and all sex acts seen as too extreme by the government. They will also be called upon to prevent the purchase of said material by those under the age of 18.

The anime and manga community are taking this very seriously and several large manga production companies have even said they will pull out of the federally funded internationally popular 2011 Tokyo International Anime Fair slated for April of next year. The artists are saying that this will stifle creativity and they believe their creative process will be stopped up due to such restrictions.

Now let’s think about this for a second. While this is somewhat of a big deal, rape, incest and sex with children is pretty much a no no anywhere else in the world, and now since the Japanese government wants to curb the selling of said materials to underaged Japanese, the artist community is having a fit. Shouldn’t this be a bit of a no brainer? They’re not even making a law saying it’s going to be taken off the market. Not by far. They just don’t want the kids of Japan to be able to get their hands on illegal sex acts.

In closing, and this one is for the kids, if you want to get that new fancy anime where a father rapes his 10yr old daughter, you better go buy it now, because you won’t be able to get your hands on it next year. That is unless your father buys it for you. Then you probably have different problems at home.
