A Spoiling Rain lesbian sex with Nia and Minamo, nude scenes with Honami Sato
Released in late 2023 in Japan, A Spoiling Rain stars the up-and-coming Honami Sato, top male actors Go Ayano and Tasuku Emoto (husband of Sakura Ando), and porn star Minamo.
Honami Sato previously did very revealing lesbian sex scenes in Ride or Die with co-star Kiko Mizuhara, who seemed on a mission to prove she could act by revealing as much of her body as possible.
This might have inspired her casting in A Spoiling Rain, since the film features an explicit lesbian sex scene with Minamo.
The movie is about a pink film (sexploitation) director, a screenwriter, and their lover.
The lesbian scene with Minamo takes place nonchalantly in the bedroom while the two men casually watch. Despite what some websites say online, however, the actress with Minamo is not Honami Sato but fellow porn star Nia (playing a Korean exchange student).
Somewhat strangely, Minamo’s scenes are in black and white, though her short dyed hair and sensual body more than brighten up the shots.
Nia is actually from Taiwan and made her JAV debut in 2021 (the same year as Minamo switched from nude modeling to porn, and forever changed our lives).
In another scene (thankfully in color), Honami Sato is shown riding Tasuku Emoto on the floor (which we presume is not the most comfortable place to do it).
She has another sex with Go Ayano, which is likely to please his many female fans.
The most explicit scene is the lesbian one, though. It’s a rule of thumb we’ve seen practiced in many Japanese movies and TV shows. If the scene calls for extensive nudity, you might struggle to find an established actress willing to shed her clothes, but an AV performer will be more than capable of fulfilling the brief.
The film is written and directed by Haruhiko Arai, a veteran member of the pink and independent film industry. He wrote Kabukicho Love Hotel, which cemented Atsuko Maeda’s status as a serious actress after leaving AKB48.
Some of the films he has made fall into that ambiguous category of a movie purporting to be a serious film with erotic themes but is effectively sexploitation with a bit of dressing up (several of the films by Sion Sono are like this, just don’t let the critics and film festival fans hear you say it).
In the case of A Spoiling Rain, the film is about pink cinema and also ends up (in part) behaving like an example of one.
Tasuku Emoto was in another film a bit like this — the very explicit It Feels So Good (also directed by Arai), with lots of nudity from beautiful co-star Kumi Takiuchi.
