Gyaru ero-cosplayer non transforms into sexy cyberpunk character
May 25, 2017
/ Tadashi Anahori
We first encountered the gyaru ero-cosplayer and model non (also known as Nonsummerjack) when we visited Fetish Fes 2015. Frankly she was so hot (and scantily clad) that we basically creamed in our pants. She was lying on a bed, charging a few coins for the chance to take a few photos.
Since then we have occasionally followed her latest shoots and so on. All for purely professional reasons, of course!
We are late with this -- it was an entry in our ever-growing backlog of future blog posts -- but back in April she did something pretty cool with the lower half of her body. Wait, stop ...
Sexy cosplayer Akira Itsuki dazzles male admirers in Osaka’s Nipponbashi Denden Town

If you want to perv over scantily clad girls posing for anyone to take their picture, then head to Akihabara at the weekends where the main strip, Chuo-dori, is pedestrianized. You should find plenty of cosplayers happy for you to snap away.
This has led to some issues in the past, though, when police and the local Chiyoda government have become alarmed that some ladies are effectively putting on mini stripteases for the benefits of the male audiences. Flasher idol Asuka Sawamoto even got arrested in 2008 for letting guys photograph her underwear.
Some say that the street massacre in ...
Japanese male virgin lures girls in Shibuya Halloween street party
November 1, 2016
/ Tadashi Anahori
How to get girls to surround you? Simple. Wear a t-shirt saying you are a virgin and wander around the crazy street party that was Shibuya during the Halloween weekend.
That's what this guy did. The sophomore University of Tokyo student, Ryosuke Takano, is a self-professed virgin but he still wanted to join in the fun for the holiday.
He carried 120 handwritten cards around with his name, Twitter account and Line number, hoping to attract followers or groupies to his cause (presumably ending his virginity).
The gimmick worked a treat: he was soon surrounded by hordes of cute ladies ...
Tokyo Comic-Con bans cross-dressing male cosplayers
October 28, 2016

It's almost time for the first ever Tokyo Comic-Con, only there is a strange rule: men cannot dress as female characters.
The news has been blazing down the internet grapeview that Tokyo Comic Con in December at Makuhari Messe will be banning cross-dressing men from attending if they dare to arrive in costumes of female characters.
This is a move that would surely disappoint the likes of Ladybeard, Sailor Fuku Ojisan, and the legions of otoko no ko cross-dressing cosplayers out there.
Needless to say, the announcement has caused something of an uproar because so much of cosplay ...
Japanese cosplayer poses with live octopus for Hokusai shunga cosplay

Now that's what we call tentacle sex.
Some people really go that extra mile for their cosplay. Here is one example that's going to be hard to beat for a while.
Cosplayer Namada spent half a day with photographer Kazan Yamamoto and the results are incredible, not least because Namada is beautiful and she was posing with a friend. That friend being a 18kg (nearly 40 lb) live octopus from Hokkaido.
Regular readers to this blog will immediately spot that this is a reference to Hokusai's The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife, perhaps the most famous example of shunga ...
Scorching hot cosplayers gather for Comiket 90: Photos
August 15, 2016
/ Tadashi Anahori
Over the weekend, Comiket 90 was held under the scorching sun. Cue the ravishing display of sweaty and semi-naked bodies of young, nubile cosplayers, plus a whole host of lenses to snap away at these tempting ladies...
While there were no reports of insane fishnet stocking sunburn like last year, here are some of the highlights from the event.
Due to work on the Tokyo Olympic venues, part of the Odaiba location was shut off so some of the outdoor area where the cosplayers usually gather to pose was shut off. We really hope that the preparations for that boondoggle in 2020 don't ...
The Japanese cosplay world was in shock on June 29th when one of the most up-and-coming cosplayers, Nekomu Otogi, announced her surprise marriage at the age of just 20.
Not only that, her new husband is a mangaka. And 31 years her senior! Yes, Kosuke Fujishima is one lucky, lucky guy.
Oh, and she's pregnant. Yes, this is the classic dekichatta kekkon, or shotgun wedding. Don't worry, Nekomu, you are in fine company -- everyone from Meisa Kuroki to Eriko Satoh.
But seriously, is this even legal? Apparently Fujishima, best known as the creator of Oh My Goddess!, ...
Japan's best-known adult brand, Tenga, has once again inspired some nice cosplay.
There's something about the vibrant colors and naughtiness of the Tenga onacup that seems to capture people's imaginatinon, from porn star Mana Sakura to ordinary costumers on the streets during Halloween.
This time it's Minami Iida (aka Gohan-chan) who has transformed herself into an "anthropomorphized" Tenga. She posted the results online earlier this month.
Note the hairpiece, comprising an onacup and Tenga eggs. She even has mini onacup earrings!
For comparison, this is what the ...
Calne Ca Onahole is sex toy based on Hatsune Miku derivative character
March 1, 2016
/ Megumi
Every now and then, Japan's character artists create something truly awesome and original, and which captures the imagination of people around the world.
Take Calne Ca by Deino, an idol with a mechanized calcium skeleton (hence the "Ca" in the name). The character -- a favorite of ambitious cosplayers -- is derived from the Vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku. Her name is pronounced Karune Shii-e.
According to the Vocaloid Wikia:
Her name comes from kara (骸) and ne (音), as well as CA (シーエ), the chemical symbol of calcium. This is due to Calne Ca being a mechanized skeleton ...
Fetish Festival (Feti-Fes) 2016: Photo report
February 1, 2016
/ Tadashi Anahori
Fetish Festival (Feti-Fes) was held on January 31st at a venue in Harajuku and what a serendipitous collection of fetishes it was!
We loved the one we attended last year. This January we couldn't go in person but watched from afar via the festival's official social media channels, from where we have pouched these shots.
Everything from rope bondage and steampunk to almost-not-there bikini idols, crotch shots, masks, blood and horror, nurses, eyepatches, facesitting, and everything in between.
The festival remains one of the most accessible ways to experience the sheer range of ...
