Busty model Tenchim wins lawsuit over boob-boosting bra
The trials and tribulations of Chinese-Japanese YouTuber, gravure model, and hostess Tenchim have reached a happier end, it seems.
The lawsuit goes back to 2020, when she promoted a bust-boosting bra on her YouTube channel. She had produced the Mote Fit bra with YUIKU, only for the brand to sue after her boob job came to light. The brand claimed that this discredited the product and caused it to fail. Tenchim had to apologize and refunds were offered.

The scandal, along with a second drug scandal, meant she had to turn to working at a hostess club in Roppongi to make ends meet.
She continued to do sexy shoots, though, showing off her tattoos.

In this way, she’s the kind of celebrity who is open about the secrets in the entertainment industry: drugs, hostessing, and plastic surgery.
She disappeared from public view in August 2023, which she later revealed was because she had given birth. Tenchim was now a single mom, supporting herself through YouTube and work as a hostess and burlesque dancer.
But in December 2024, the court ordered her to pay ¥380 million in damages to YUIKU.
Tenchim, who used to work under the name Tenka Hashimoto, chose to fight on. In her personal life, the 32-year-old married a wealthy businessman, Yuta Misaki, known for making a fortune through selling aojiru green juice. (We’re curious how they met. Through her hostess club? Compensated dating? After all, it’s another open secret that models and entertainers do side gigs where they date rich men.)
And in this month, the supreme court has reversed the earlier decision and Tenchim’s debt has been wiped. She no longer has to pay the damages, leaving her free to enjoy her best life with Yuta and her kid.

In fact, YUIKU was even ordered to pay Tenchim a small amount.
It might not be over quite yet, though.
Regarding future steps, the company stated that there are “significant errors in the interpretation of the law,” specifically concerning the application of the principle of offsetting gains and losses, as well as the determination of variable sales costs. In consultation with legal counsel, it is considering further legal action, including the possibility of filing an appeal to the Supreme Court.
