Shizuka Nakamura makes gravure comeback with nude shoot
Welcome back, Shizuka Nakamura. We’ve missed you.
We can’t think of the last time that we saw a new shoot by the former top gradol. Thankfully, building on the momentum of her role in the high-profile Netflix adultery drama Fishbowl Wives, in which she appears in a sex scene, Shizuka Nakamura has returned to her first career: gravure.
Shizuka Nakamura appears in the March 25 issue of weekly magazine Friday with a nine-page, winter-onsen-themed shoot. Now aged 33 and as a slim as ever (if anything, a bit slimmer than before?), the Kyoto native has matured into a sensual jukujo. (If we’re honest, she’s showing her age on the backs of her hands.)
Even better, not only is this a comeback, it’s a nude comeback (and perhaps the nudest she has ever done), with Nakamura lying naked on a bed and, in another shot, facing the camera and covering her breasts with her arms.
She has a new photo book in the Gekkan series out from Shogakukan on April 22.
In recent months, we’ve seen various former top gradols return to the industry after absences caused by career changes (such as to acting) or declines in prominence/popularity: Ai Shinozaki (with a nude photo book), Reiko Nagaoka (Una Shirakawa), and Ayame Misaki.
