Mariya Nagao’s nude trip to a Showa-era hot spring
Readers, we have failed you. After reporting on Mariya Nagao’s latest photo book in December 2021, we failed to follow up when it was released earlier this year.
We should have, because it was actually (as rumored) Mariya Nagao’s first nude photo book. Her fourth print book Yabai! Mariya. came out in January and follows Mariyagi as she visits an old hot spring resort with its run-down love hotels and snack bars.
The Showa-themed shoot features a naked Mariya in vintage clothes that she takes off for a bath and then enjoys the water. Her nude butt is visible in several shots. After years of tantalizing lingerie and swimwear pictures, we finally get to see her nude.
And when she holds that wet, clinging towel to her body, we have never more longed to be a piece of inanimate material!
Mariya Nagao, who was a member of Team K from 2009 to 2016, has long been our favorite ex-AKB48 idol for various reasons we can’t pin down. Is it her angelic yet seductive face? Her slinky body? Her penchant for fun TV appearances? Her golfing skills? We’re not quite sure, but we know what we like.
We were prompted to return to “Yabai! Mariya.” (and do what we should have done earlier in the year) by the news that 28-year-old has released not one but two Weekly Friday digital photo books this month and appears in a semi-nude, 10-page shoot in the July 22 issue of Weekly Friday.

Mariyagi is more than qualified enough, always provocative!!
but well yeah, probably because she still relevant in mainstream media, she didn’t want to take unnecessary risk with AV (gradol is still grey area)
If she would ask me to escort her to an onsen or love hotel I would most likely consent
