Ex-NMB48 idol Miyuki Watanabe models for Peach John lingerie brand
We like it when the legions of idols who pass through the ranks of AKB48 and its sister groups manage to find second careers after graduation. This is actually quite rare, though a lucky few do go on to work as actors, singers, models, tarento, or other types of entertainers.
Now Miyuki Watanabe, formerly of NMB48, has established herself as an underwear model by posing for Peach John.
The shoot has shown off a lot more of her cleavage than we have seen until now, and we like the results, even if Miyuki is far from what we might call busty.
The popular lingerie brand Peach John is known for its use of models and impressive shoots. It has previously harnessed the power of AKB48 idol Haruna Kojima, but this was back when she was still in the group (and she has since faded from public view since graduating).
Perhaps, then, the closest comparison is with Yuki Kashiwagi, a member of AKB48, who also posed for an awesome lingerie shoot (for the Peach John rival, Ravijour) after leaving the supergroup. (She nominally designed the lingerie, too.)
Things seem to be going well for Miyuki Watanabe. This latest advance in her career, which has received a lot of publicity, comes in the wake of the semi-nude photo book that she released last year.

Well, there are lots of vloggers and that wasn’t really our point. We adore Haruna Kojima and have featured her countless times, so there was no criticism intended. But we don’t really see her anymore on magazine covers, on big TV shows, or fronting major brands, like when she was the main model for Peach John. We heard that she launched her own brand and is obviously not out of work, but our impression is that her career hasn’t (yet) fulfilled its potential as we’d hoped. Of course, this is hardly unique for ex-AKB48 idols or any idol/model after they reach 30.

However, Yuki is still in AKB. She announced past year that her intention is mantain her position in the group until her 30th birthday.
