Porn star daughter AiRis shows off provocative look at age 16 in outdoor swimwear event
Mariko Sata is a former porn star who made her adult video debut in 2020 when she was already 39 years old, after some time working in a soapland and hair salon in Fukuoka (and also apparently as a past life therapist). She had a successful career as a jukujo JAV performer, but retired in March 2025.
Today aged 44 (though conflicting information on her age is available), Sata is also a single mom who raised a daughter by herself. This is fascinating in and of itself, since raising a child as a porn star must throw up some, well, unique challenges. But Sata launched her own idol management company, Ascension Project, of which the employee is her child, a junior idol who works under the name AiRis (styled in a mix of kanji and roman letters, ζ„›Ris).
As we introduced on the blog last year, AiRis has published a book about her issues at school that prevented her from continuing her education, as well as several photo books, music singles, and DVDs. She is now 16 and attracting attention for her more provocative, skimpy wardrobe choices.
At the Kindai Mahjong Swimwear Festival 2026 on July 1 and 2, she wore a figure-hugging competitive swimsuit that left little to the imagination about every inch of her body. She posed for fans in the outdoor venue, letting them take photos from every angle with a big smile on her face. Such is the life of a junior idol.
The event was held at Tokyo Summerland in Akiruno, a city in the western suburbs of Tokyo.
Such swimwear gravure photography events are major opportunities for fans to get close to their favorite gravure idols, but are sometimes controversial because they take place in the open and in venues that may be part of public parks. One in Saitama became a politically charged problem particularly in 2023, leading to new guidelines on what can and cannot be worn.
