Porn star Minamo continues amazing modeling campaign for Ravijour lingerie
While Japanese porn stars are often described euphemistically in the mainstream media as “sexy actresses,” major apparel brands think nothing of hiring adult video performers to front campaigns for them (though this is not without some controversy).
And so we have Minamo modeling for top lingerie brand Ravijour.
This is not a new campaign per se. The 25-year-old JAV superstar has been modeling for Ravijour since at least 2023, as we gleefully reported at the time.
Originally a gravure star who worked under the name Shizuku Taiyo, the mononymous stunner made her porn debut in 2021 and hasn’t looked back since (though has surprisingly not branched out into making her own porn pocket pussy toys — we can but hope).
She has built up a huge following with her incredible F-cup breasts, pale skin, curvy butt, and ravishingly beautiful face (which, as many have noted, is a dead ringer for actress Mitsuki Takahata). All of those assets are on full display in her latest shoot for Ravijour (though frankly, you could put Minamo in jeans and a T-shirt and she would still look utterly gorgeous).
In addition to dozens of AV releases, Minamo has done nude photo books (her most recent was last year) and made some film appearances (perhaps inevitably, in erotic movies that require plenty of nudity).
Strangely, though, we are not aware of her releasing any tie-in masturbators and adult toys, which seems like a missed opportunity.
Former AKB48 idol Megu Taniguchi also models for Ravijour, fronting its spring collection this year, with jaw-dropping results.
Some new colors in the Ravijour line LINGERIEAM dropped recently, with 27-year-old Taniguchi demonstrating how they look.
All of the above has understandably generated plenty of news headlines and clicks for Ravijour this month.
