The idol of the moment is Mitsu Dan, who just appears to be in every magazine and also a lot of mainstream TV shows as well. Could she stand a chance of breaking out into the regular tarento world?

She is being presented as a jukujo with a curvy, erotic body. In fact, she is barely in her thirties so this is a bit misleading.

Anyway, her popularity is creating some bizarre appearances and collaborations, including this music video she has made SoulJax and Maiko Nakamura.

While it’s hardly a work of genius, it does show Dan Mitsu’s “talents” to their full — lounging around in skimpy clothing, looking curvy and sex.

We’ve seen this kind of “idol boom” before and sadly expect that all too soon Mitsu Dan’s time in the limelight will vanish, and she will go back to the idol magazines.
