Nanao looks divinely ravishing in first photo book in 10 years

Welcome back, Nanao, it’s been a while. Far too long.

The mononymous actress known for her long legs has spent several years on TV, but we still have very fond memories of her stunning photo book 1028_24, which made her legs famous back in 2012, and her sexy Anan magazine cover shoot from shortly after. In the early 2010s, in between roles in TV dramas where she was almost always cast as a mean type, she seemed determined to push things as far as they could go, blurring the line between gravure and fashion modeling.

Divine is Nanao’s first photo book in 10 years. Shot on the island of Yakushima in the far south of Japan, it flaunts Nanao’s svelte body in a bikini. Being sub-tropical down there, things get pretty wet and sweaty.

Now aged 34, Nanao is as slim and slinky as ever, though she seems to be emphasized her legs less these days. We also weren’t aware that Nanao has a bellybutton piercing.

Though it’s evident that this was a sumptuously and expensively shot photo book, some of the poses (especially the one in the yellow bikini) couldn’t help but remind us of vintage “beer girls” that used to adorn beer posters.

The 128-page Divine is published by Kodansha and released in Japan on March 21.
