Haruna Kojima stuns at 37 in sexy swimsuit shoot

The former music idol Haruna Kojima still looks amazing at 37, as these recent pictures from a photo shoot demonstrate. They show her in a figure-hugging black swimsuit that reveals her trim body, flat stomach, and slender legs.

Kojiharu, as she is nicknamed, turns 38 in April and is one of the hottest jukujo in Japan, up there with Sayaka Isoyama and Kyoko Fukada.

The Saitama native was part of the early period of AKB48 history, when the supergroup was ubiquitous and produced several mainstream stars. She was a member of the group from 2005 to 2017, after which she worked as a fashion model and founded her own apparel brand. Though she has since sold a majority stake in Her lip to (and netting a pretty sum in the process), she remains closely involved in the running of the brand.

Despite pursuing a successful career as an entrepreneur, Kojiharu has never fully abandoned gravure. Far from it, she continues to do regular shoots, even semi-nude ones, and satisfy her original fans from her AKB48 days. (It also helps to keep in in the public eye, which further promotes her brand, which was originally built largely around her fame.)

Cynics might say that of course she looks this good at almost 38. Kojiharu has time and money on her side, and most importantly — no kids. When you haven’t put your body through pregnancy and childbirth, to say nothing of parenthood in the following years, you are going to look (and feel) much better than a regular woman at that age.

Whatever the reason for her youthful looks and figure, we certainly hope she continues to do shoots like this and prove that age is no obstacle to a modeling career.
