Gravure idol Kana Koizumi quits agency, bares breasts in Twitter video

For better or for worse, it’s a tried-and-tested formula: if you wanna sell, get your tits out.

Well, gravure idol Kana Koizumi (小泉かな) took this literally, it seems.

This happened last week but only came onto our radars now after it already went viral.

The gradol decided to post a tweet on February 11 promoting her latest image video, “Glamorous Body.” Like most such DVDs released by gravure models, the content is raunchy but stops just short of actual nudity.

Not so with the tweet, however.

For no obvious reason, Koizumi accompanied her tweet of the Amazon links with a short video of herself sitting down in a bare kitchen area with her remarkably large breasts on full view. Her panties are apparently around her knees, though her legs are closed, so you can’t see her actual crotch under her clothing.

She smiles, somewhat awkwardly, as she changes pose over the course of the 22 seconds.

The video, which she seemingly shot herself on a phone, has inevitably picked up traction, attracting around 240,000 views and thousands of comments as of writing.

Since it is still online several days after it was posted, we can safely say that this is not part of a sex tape or something that Kana shot for a lover, and then accidentally uploaded. (Sounds crazy, but Japanese models uploading their private sex tape is something that has happened before.)

But Kana has, we discover, recently left her agency as of late January to make a go of it freelance. So this is the 27-year-old trying some bold new marketing strategies that her agency would not have condoned.

Could this be the prelude to an entry into adult video, which Kana has previously denied in the past?
