Golfer Minase Ozawa hits hole in one with nude photo book

Attractive female sports athletes are a universal thing, of course, and such women can earn big bucks for sponsorship and modeling.

But there’s a kind of culture in Japan of such female athletes of going the extra mile (especially if they are retired or not necessarily at the top of their field). And so you get lots of nude photo books by female athletes, from wrestlers to boxers, gymnasts, and swimmers.

The figure skater Mai Asada has pursued a lucrative side line in gravure, while the swimmer Miku Kojima and snowboarder Mero Imai went from nude shoots into porn.

The golfer Minase Ozawa is the latest to contribute to this trend with her second photo book, “MUSE,” which sees the golfer show off her nude, toned body. The book went on sale late last month from Kodansha and she is promoting it with a gravure shoot in the December 16 issue of Weekly Friday.

Cue a lot of bad puns about clubs, wedges, teeing off, and holes, etc.

The shoot includes plenty of Ozawa’s nude back and butt, but sadly no breasts. We also haven’t seen any shots where she poses with clubs (only weights), which seems like a missed opportunity for some nicely suggestive imagery.

The 30-year-old’s first photo book from last year, “Challenge,” was also nude, so she’s clearly establishing a reputation for herself in this line of work.

As stunning as Minase Ozawa is, we think the golfer Sumire Noda has the edge on her — as her semi-nude photo shoot last year demonstrated.
