Father of single mom Hiroko Sato’s child revealed as actor Ryosei Konishi

A few years ago, we were delighted to see the return of Hiroko Sato, making big splash with a full-frontal nude photo book. She was then in her early thirties and a single mom, having carved out a career in gravure and acting since her teens, and becoming better known in the 2000s for her roles in sexploitation movies.

The most famous is the R18-rated A Night in Nude — Salvation (2010) with Naoto Takenaka, in which Sato appears nude in numerous scenes.

We were in awe of this gorgeous single mom’s natural and slinky body, and that fine bush of hair downstairs.

Well, the plot thickens: Hiroko Sato is now aged 40 and the tabloids have finally figured out who is the father of her child. And it’s not a pretty story.

According to a report in the Bunshun Online, the father is actor Ryosei Konishi.

The two allegedly began dating around January 2012. Shortly after, it was discovered that Sato was pregnant, but she decided to have an abortion. In August 2014, it was discovered that Sato was pregnant yet again, and this time decided to keep the child. She gave birth in 2015. However, Konishi did not acknowledge the child or pay child support, Sato claims in the tell-all interview with Bunshun Online.

To compound matters, a year after the birth, the media was then abuzz with reports of Konishi’s passionate love affair with a certain actress, leaving Sato fuming. The actress was none other than Shihori Kanjiya.

Kanjiya is today 40 years old (like Hiroko Sato), married to someone else since 2019, and a mother herself since late 2024. She had met Konishi when they acted together in a play in 2014 and it is not clear when they started dating, but Konishi may have been with Sato at the time (and not just that, of course; he was also getting her pregnant twice). At the very least, he was having a fun time with Kanjiya shortly after Sato had given birth.

As a single mom, Sato suffered from the social stigma and it also damaged her career prospects. In the end, she had to leave her management agency, effectively making her unemployed. Today, she works as a painter under the name Memeco Sakata, though still occasionally does acting and modeling work as Hiroko Sato.

Konishi remains unmarried. His recent acting credits include stage musicals and a TV show in the Super Sentai series
