Shinjuku apparel store worker makes porn debut
MYLORD was one of the iconic parts of the Shinjuku retail landscape from 1984 to 2025. The somewhat dubiously named mall mostly housed apparel shops, frequented by young women and staffed by the same demographic.
After MYLORD closed, many lamented what would replace it — and it seems that some of the women who worked there have moved into a very different industry. Or at least one has.
Hinako Tomine (東峯日奈子) is a new Japanese adult video star who makes her porn debut with a release from E-Body that came out June 26. The 148-minute release (OFES-032) emphasizes Tomine’s H-cup breasts, how she is from Kumamoto in southern Japan, and (more weirdly) her equestrian abilities. So viewers get to see 22-year-old Hinako riding lovers as well as actual horses.
But Hinako may not be quite all the E-Body publicity claims. Whether or not she’s actually from Kumamoto is unclear (though she evidently can ride horses — and those breasts must really bounce and wobble when she does), but netizens have done some digging and think she is a former employee at a MYLORD apparel store. They turned up some old street snaps as proof.
We can’t speak to the veracity of the claim, and it perhaps tells us more about people’s fantasies about all those pretty young ladies who staff Tokyo’s almost infinite number of clothes stores. Perhaps E-Body actually missed out on a better strategy to market Hinako Tomine, not as an equestrian club student from regional Japan but as a cutie in an apparel shop in a Shinjuku retail mall. Perhaps that will be the theme of her second release?
