Miyuka Minami puts breasts to good use in new photo book

Former AKB48 superstar Atsuko Maeda has recently proved that rewarding fans who have waited nearly two decades with a semi-nude photo book in your mid-thirties, and claiming it’s your best and your last, will reap commercial dividends.

On the other hand, as relative newcomer Miyuka Minami is showing, you can just go nude early in your career to make a splash.

The 20-year-old Mie native made her debut in 2021 as a junior idol but has branched out into more full-on gravure in recent years with the end of her stints in two idol groups in Nagoya. She released her first gravure photo book in July 2024 and her second, à la mode, is due to come out in April, along with her first image video.

She seems determined to put her G-cup breasts to good use, hence the choice of a tight-fitting white T-shirt in one of her latest shoots that generously show the full outline of her breast and the pointy wonder of the nipple. Since it’s nominally covered, this probably counts only as semi-nude, but we would call this a nude debut in all but name.

And if you are in any doubt of the provocative approach she is taking, the shot of her naked back with side boob, looking alluringly over her shoulder and seeming to slip her panties off her butt, should leave you in no doubt. The poolside pics also look great, both the final images and the behind-the-scenes footage.

Minami is also a member of a new Tokyo-based idol group, Sophià la Mode (the similarity to the title of her new photo book is entirely non-coincidental).
