Highlights from Ruka Kitano’s second nude photo book

Former SKE48 idol and actress Ruka Kitano (26) released her second photo book, The Birth of Venus, on December 19, 2025.

It is the long-awaited follow-up to her first photo book, Want to Try Touching Me?, which came out in September 2024 and was a huge hit.

It took us a while but we have finally gathered some highlights from the second photo book.

Looking back, the 26-year-old commented at a launch event in Tokyo, “I felt a lot of pressure to surpass my first photo book while doing the shoot.”

Her first photo book was nude, featuring lots of shots of Ruka’s naked butt, and this follow-up is similarly explicit, with many pics of her ass while stopping just short of showing her breasts. Carefully placed hands and lingerie protect the idol’s modesty.

The contrast between her girl-next-door looks and the alluring, provocative poses is great. While her butt doesn’t have much shape to it, her slender, willowy body just begs for you to hold it.

She continued, “This time, I’m barely wearing any clothes again. I’ve added a more mature look that wasn’t there last time.” While maintaining the same proactive approach as her previous book, she also added a more mature side for The Birth of Venus, which is published by Byakuya Shobo.

Boosted by the success of her first photo book, Kitano also starred in her first terrestrial TV drama series, Gurapara!, which aired last summer. She proudly declared, “I’ve taken another step up the ladder as an actress.”

Ruka Kitano was a member of the Nagoya-based SKE48 from 2012 to 2024.

Now speculation is rife about Ruka Kitano’s future, with the news that her official website is shutting down soon. Of course, it could be merely for admin reasons or she may be switching agencies. Others are speculating (rather fancifully) that she could be about to make her adult video debut.
