Busty Rio Teramoto returns to gravure for first time in five years

The gravure idol and actress Rio Teramoto is to make a comeback after five years.

In the intervening time, she has focused on her acting career, including teasing us with an almost-nude scene in the Netflix drama Sanctuary, in which she played a hostess.

Incredibly for someone who seems to have been around so long, she is still only 24 but hasn’t released a photo book in six years.

Teramoto’s second release comes out on April 1 and was shot in Perth, Australia. “This is my first gravure shoot in five years,” she wrote on Instagram to her fans. “I’m grateful to everyone who waited for me.”

The initially available preview pictures radiate with the warmth of the Australian sun and Rio’s busty body in a wet bikini. She also looks damned fine, naked under a pair of dungarees.

This year also marks a full decade since the Hiroshima native made her debut as a junior idol. We still remember the buzz that greeted her (and her G-cup assets) first photo book, Curiosity, back in 2020.

Her second photo book, whose title is not yet announced, is published by Kodansha, like her first.

The previous book was shot in LA and sold very well, though our memories of that period are fogged by the pandemic, which probably made promotion difficult. There are no such restrictions now, so expect to see Rio Teramoto splashed across the cover of weeklies and doing lots of events to push her follow-up book in April.
