Models pose naked to promote Yamanashi hot springs, reveal more than expected

Right now, tourist resorts deserve our pity. Things were going so well for them until the start of 2020, after which visitors to Japan plummeted (and are now exactly zero, because the borders are closed). Even domestic tourism has dropped after the summer-autumn campaign launched by the government resulted in a spike in coronavirus infections.

Onsen hot springs are famously erotic places. They are not just where you go to get clean. You go to bathe with people — ideally a member of the opposite sex. Sharing a hot spring bath together is a very sensual, sexual experience, and you haven’t lived until you have tried a ryokan Japanese inn with its own private onsen.

Owners and operators know this full well, which is why they hire pretty models to sit naked in publicity shots. Usually the models are wearing secret towels or, in this case, holding a sign that is meant to preserve their modesty (and stop the publicity shot from being flagged as pornographic).

But nip slips are nip slips. And this cute model had one.

While sitting in a hot spring bath, the alluring lady and her friend are holding up a sign advertising the Facebook page of a Yamanashi Prefecture onsen.

Cynical ploy or not, one of their breasts is clearly visible, with a juicy-looking nipple peeping out from underneath the sign they are holding.

Now that’s what we call advertising.

    This is an old photo from 2018 (or possibly older). The two are famous for their video reviews of Onsen. Shiratori Akane 白鳥茜 is the one with the nipslip. Satake Hina 佐竹ひな is next to her.

    @Ben

    Interesting, thanks for that. We also originally tried to search around but couldn’t find the exact source. Curious that it was only recently discovered (or rediscovered) by netizens…
