Man arrested for urinating on children’s bicycles and helmets
A Japanese man has been arrested for public indecency after exposing his lower body to a woman on the streets of Hongo, Tokyo, in January.
The 29-year-old Masaya Yamada was arrested in April, though the crime was only reported this week in the Japanese media. The incident took place on the night of January 18. The victim was a woman in her twenties.
It seems that the arrest also led police to discover other crimes carried out by Yamada in previous months.
In addition to silently exposing himself in January, Yamada is accused of getting sexual pleasure from urinating on children’s bicycles and helmets.
Police found over 80 videos on Yamada’s phone, filmed by himself and apparently showing him “decorating” bikes with his urine.
He is suspected of sneaking into the grounds of house in Kita and Shinjuku wards in Tokyo last November to urinate on kids’ bikes and helmets. Yamada carried a syringe filled with his urine that he used to carry out his crime.
Yamada has admitted the charge, telling investigators: “I felt sexually aroused by the thought of a girl riding a bicycle without knowing that she was covered in my urine.”
