New porn parodies gravure idol and professional mahjong player Sayaka Okada
A new porn release is based on leading gravure idol, YouTuber, and mahjong player Sayaka Okada.
As a gradol, it often helps to have a side line (e.g., as a race queen or ring girl) or a schtick to set you apart (like Sara Oshino, who is also a calligrapher).

In Okada’s case, she’s famous for being a professional mahjong player. In many ways, it makes sense, since Okada is half-Chinese and her interest in the game is perhaps the result of her upbringing partly in China. A graduate of the prestigious private college Aoyama Gakuin University, she’s been modeling since 2011, in both fashion and gravure, and playing mahjong professionally since 2017.
This other career also landed her in trouble when Okada was caught on camera in January dissing a presenter doing an interview for a live stream of a mahjong tournament. As such, the 31-year-old has developed a reputation for having a sharp tongue, which only adds to her allure as a femme fatale and tough cookie that you don’t want to cross.
The 114-minute porn release (RMER-051) stars Yaya Kohaku as a dead ringer for Okada, dressed in the kind of outfits fans are used to seeing the model wearing.

Kohaku also finds some very unusual and, ahem, intimate uses for mahjong tiles over the course of the video.

They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, so perhaps Okada and her agency won’t be too annoyed by the obvious source of inspiration for this new AV release.

As discussed numerous times on this blog, one of the ways in which the Japanese adult video industry maintains its ferocious output is by recycling topical stories, often in a parodic way, or making inventive porn sendups of other IPs from anime, games, TV shows, and so on.
It isn’t afraid to dip its toe into more controversial incidents, such as the sexual assault of an NGT48 member in 2019 (whose porn version actually starred another former NMB48 idol). Jun Suehiro made a porn that referenced her own scandal.
This provocative approach can go wrong sometimes and attract a backlash or even fear of litigation. The JAV lampoon of the DJ Soda groping incident, for instance, was pulled from the release slate.
