Sayaka Isoyama delights with new gravure foray at 41

Some female celebrities are vampires. They must be, otherwise how else do the likes of Ayaka Haruse, Kyoko Fukada, and Asami Kumakiri seem never to age even as they enter their forties?

One of Japan’s top jukujo hotties is Sayaka Isoyama, known for her curvy charms and simple personality.

Though her gravure peak is long behind her and she makes her living primarily now as a TV celebrity and actress, the 41-year-old is releasing a new photo book in October to mark 25 years of working in the entertainment industry. It was shot in location in Cairns, Australia.

As a promotion, she appears in a 10-page cover shoot of the current issue of Weekly Friday, her first such cover shoot in eight years.

With a headline describing her as an “eternal Venus,” she looks as charming and ageless as ever in the bikini pics.

A favorite of this blog since the late 2000s, Isoyama is unmarried and childless (unlike similarly aged but mother-of-three Yoko Kumada), by her admission, relatively sexually inexperienced. There is a recent trend for female celebrities to start focusing on physical fitness in their late thirties, developing a very athletic body (think Yuka Iguchi and Ayame Misaki). Isoyama doesn’t seem to bother with sessions in the gym and is more than happy to show off her natural curves.

Her previous photo book, and more, was a bestseller, and the publisher is already planning a second “deluxe edition” of her as-yet untitled new one, to come out in December, by which time she will be 42.
