Basement Jaxx “Never Say Never ft. ETML” music video takes us into the world of Japanese robotic butt twerking
August 1, 2014
/ Tadashi Anahori
Forget Cornelius, Noise and all that. It seems that Japan's reputation in the world of electronic dance consists of little more than the country that has both technology and horny people.
To be fair, it is not wholly wrong. This is the nation of the Shiri robotic ass and the Yukirin AKB48 android.
And clearly Basement Jaxx like this side of things since for their music for "Never Say Never ft. ETML" they featured it almost exclusively.
Set in some distant future where dance has been banned or "72% people have stopped partaking" in dancing -- again, is this a reference to Japan? ...
Otaku fan makes Yukirin Android robot of AKB48 idol Yuki Kashiwagi

/ Tadashi Anahori
Will this finally take the crown for AKB48 Fan of the Century?
As reported by our friends at JapanTrends.com, one admirer of Yuki Kashiwagi has succeeded in making a working android of her, the Yukirin Robot.
AKB48 fans aren't known for their subtlety or restraint. From purchasing up crazy amounts of CDs and merchandise to attacking the objects of their desire at handshaking events, AKB48 is a group that inspires all manner of extreme response from its fans.
But this is something we haven't personally seen before, though it is at least technically impressive.
It ...
Virtual sex in a real way: USB Onacon Sex Simulator 3D Mayu Watanabe
April 10, 2014
/ Tadashi Anahori
Virtual sex. Cyber sex. Hi-tech sex toys.
Are SIMS and virtual idols and USB-powered sex toys the future -- or just an overrated, convoluted way of getting off? Well, the jury's still out.
We're going to go out on a limb and say that these types of toys will never replace the real thing. You still can't beat the sensation of real skin on your hands.
But here's the rub. In many ways, the aim is not to replace -- it's to provide a whole different experience altogether.
With the USB Onacon Sex Simulator 3D Mayu Watanabe, from the makers of the 3D Custom Girl USB Onacon and Custom Maid Ju-C ...
Virtual reality Tenga experience with the Novint Falcon headset and onacup combo!

/ Tadashi Anahori
Now here's a technological innovation to get excited about.
Team Ressentiment, an engineering group, has had some fun with the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.
How? Well, by combining it Japan's most famous sex toys, Tenga!
The whole get-up is called the Novint Falcon.
The user tries on the headset and then puts his you-know-what where it counts -- inside a Tenga onacup.
Oh, and there's a screen, which would respond to his gyrations. Meanwhile the guy is wearing the headset so can be seeing and hearing all kinds of kinky stuff.
In his eyes and head he is fucking ...
Here is the otaku hug pillow for the new generation.
A smartphone that is the size of a bed.
That's right, you can sleep on this phone, run on it, even live on it.
But otaku will be interested in how it can revolutionize the hug pillow.
Take the Soine App 4.1, which allows you to snuggle up (soine) to a life-size 2D anime character.
Before you jump to any conclusions about "Japanese" engineers, the development team was actually led by a white ...
Trust an otaku imagination to come up with this.
Previewed at Wonder Festival and spotted by Akiba Blog, this butt pencil sharpener (お尻鉛筆削り) -- a picture of a naked girl's derrière with a sharpener covered in putty.
Crude engineering for a crude design. Yes, some people never grow out of schoolboy humor.
The results are kind of great at the same time, though!
It was retailing at ¥500, or just over $5.
A bargain, one might say. However, we can't see this going over too well in the office.
We have to say, though. Almost no Japanese girls have ...
Shiri robotic butt is an ass-lover’s dream come true
May 17, 2012
/ Tadashi Anahori
Everyone knows that I am a big ass man so naturally I got excited when I heard about the Shiri.
Its makers say it is a "buttocks humanoid that represents emotions with visual and tactual [sic] transformation of the muscles".
We say it's the best sex machine that never was!
Yes, now the genius of Japanese engineering has been directed not to saving the country from its energy crisis, food shortage or any of the litany of other issues. Instead, there is Shiri, a realistic ass robot with "organic, artificial muscles".
Made using a urethane skeleton, there is a Gluteus Maximus Actuator -- ...
Moe-yu app for otaku mixed public baths on your phone
May 16, 2012
/ Tadashi Anahori
The Japanese like public baths (onsen) and they also like technology and otaku culture. Imagine mixing the three in the same way some hot springs allow mixed gender bathing!
Just released for Android phones, the Moe-yu app takes two concepts (moe and bathing) and lets users enjoy sensual bathing with special bishojo character Momori. Naturally Momori also talks to you (voiced by Asumi Kana) so you can, well, think you are having a conversation with a real girlfriend.
You can change backgrounds, and use the camera and augmented reality technology so that it even seems that the girl ...
As we know, there are plenty of people in Japan with oedipal fetishes enough to make lactating milk a major subculture in the porn and sex industry.
Well, this otaku took it a step further.
He wanted to squeeze breasts and pump out milk so bad that he designed a computer software system that lets him do that to 2D images on a screen!
Using a camera and a PC to pinpoint the spot of "milk discharge", he crafted a program whereby he can touch the breast on the screen and then it produces an instantaneous fountain of milk!
Here's the video... Keep watching for the really creepy ...
Interactive kissing screen poster for otaku and idols
April 6, 2012
/ Tadashi Anahori
An otaku engineer has devised a system so that his lust for idols will not be hampered by the constraints of the 2D. Now he has created a poster that can respond to being "kissed", perfect for reenacting his fantasies of making out with his favorite fantasy girls.
We love how the young guy who developed the poster is so flagrant about his motivations:
I'm a big fan of pop idols, and I have posters of them in my room. It bugged me that the posters didn't move at all. We built this system because we thought, if a poster could move to match people's movements, that would be interactive ...
