Shoko Takahashi makes comeback at PinkD! event in Macau, shocks fans with appearance

Fans were delighted to see the return of Shoko Takahashi to the porn scene with her appearance in Macau over the weekend.

Takasho somewhat abruptly retired in 2022, seven years after her debut. She famously made the switch from regular gravure (where she worked as Shoko Takasaki) to adult video after her agency sacked her for getting caught doing compensated dating.

She appeared at PinkD! Entertainment Expo in Macau from September 26 to September 28. China and other parts of Asia are some of the biggest markets for Japanese porn, and performers often appear at such events outside Japan.

Since retiring, Takahashi has kept a relatively low profile, with just occasional selfies and on lingerie pics on her social media (unless we missed something major along the way).

This might be the most public appearance she has done since retiring, making a kind of de facto comeback.

She shared the stage with many leading adult video figures from past and present, including Ayaka Yamagishi, Mana Sakura, Ema Yano, and the legendary Sola Aoi.

But while the venue was all smiles, some of the response online has been less positive, with netizens making cruel comments about her face and body.

Some are saying that the famously busty 32-year-old has lost her original shape, and those G-cup breasts are smaller. Now slimmer and more elegant than her previously cute and girl-next-door look, there’s no denying that she’s still a beautiful woman three years on from her retirement. But even her face has changed, people noted. The question is: Does she look better or worse?
