Ex-porn star Emiri Okazaki is pregnant, plans to be single mom
The former porn star Emiri Okazaki has announced she is pregnant.
Now 36, Okazaki made her adult video debut via Muteki in 2011. She also worked under the name EMIRI and was a member of the JAV idol music group Pinkey, which was produced by the late Kishin Shinoyama, famed for his nude photography, and active from 2012 to 2015.
Prior to her porn career, she was gyaru-style model. Since her retirement in 2016, she has been a YouTuber and entrepreneur with a business selling supplements.
Okazaki’s announcement was accompanied by some maternity photos (weirdly also featuring her dog, almost like it’s the father!), as is customary for celebrities in Japan — though we prefer the nude ones!
“During pregnancy, the hormones are a rollercoaster of emotions that are impossible to control. I want to try to avoid stress as much as possible and relax without pushing myself too hard.”
Okazaki, who is half Japanese and half Korean, has announced that her first child is a boy and that she will be a single mom.
“I want to meet you soon, but you can’t come out yet. Please grow up well in your mother’s belly, baby. It’s my first time, and I don’t know what I don’t know. As I enter the later stages of pregnancy and the birth draws near, I’m terribly scared and anxious. I’ll do my best.”
What happens when ex-porn stars start families? It’s an issue that seems to appear regularly, as we noted when Riasu Mizutani’s pregnancy was revealed. Some former performers suffer online abuse after they announce that they will become mothers. At some point, Okazaki will have to explain to her son about her former career.
