Veteran Kyoto 72-year-old cross-dresser arrested on street… yet again

Be careful if something seems too good to be true. It usually is.

If you are on the street and are enticed by a woman, remember — only fools rush in.

But perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. The “woman” in question certainly didn’t look like this.

No, instead Kyoto police have arrested self-employed Naohiro Nagaoka (72) after he dressed up as a woman and repeatedly called out to men passing on the street.

Is cross-dressing now a crime? Is Kyoto becoming Tokyo’s Chiyoda Ward?

No, Naohiro Nagaoka wasn’t just indulging in his drag queen proclivities. He was trying to rob men while they had their guard down. Apparently seeing a 72-year-old in drag will either get them horny and vulnerable, or might shock them so much they are susceptible to theft.

In the past fifty years (yes, this guy has been doing this for FIFTY years) has been arrested nine times for the same act.

This time he was nabbed after on March 25th around 11pm he promised a passing 48-year-old man the chance to “have sex for 20,000 yen”. Well, that was an offer he couldn’t refuse!
