Hikari, a city in the rural prefecture of Yamaguchi in the west of Japan, has a mascot. No surprise there, since almost every town, city, prefecture, company, political party, or anything in Japan has an official mascot of some kind. Japanese adult toy brands also have them: Toy's Heart has Toys-kun, while Tama Toys has Super Tamanyan. But Cuto is different. Cuto is all about breasts and childrearing. As her name suggests, she looks cute, right? But those circles on her cheeks are not blushes. You've guessed it -- they're nipples. Because Cuto's head is meant to be a pair of ...

In need of a lube that isn't like the rest? The Onassyi Funassyi Lubricant is a parody lube by Pepee, inspired by the wildly popular character Funassyi. The yellow pear was designed to be a mascot (yuru-kyara) for the city of Funbashi in Chiba. Though not officially accepted by the city authorities, Funassyi has gone on to achieve worldwide -- and even global -- fame, resulting in an industry of merchandise, spin-off characters, an anime series, and more. The new official mascot for Shima City in Mie Prefecture is too erotic and has inspired a campaign to get it abolished. The "ama-moe" character Megu Aoshima eroticizes the ama female free-divers who fish for pearls. Shima is famous for pearl-diving in Ago Bay. A petition to get the ama character banned for the way it "denigrates women" will be submitted to the mayor on August 13th. They already have around 170 current ama divers' signatures. The city issued an open call ...

It seems that unusual vibrators that look like character or mascot toys are all the rage in Japan these days. After introducing the Lovely Loveman earlier this week, now we find this new ToysBoys waterproof vibe. It is based on the Toys-kun mascot character for Toys Heart, one of Japan's biggest adult toy companies, to celebrate some sort of anniversary. You can pop it on your shelf or bath and everyone will just think it's another wacky Japanese toy. But actually, press the button underneath and it will start buzzing like crazy. The arms, and bulbous head, make for a very unique ...
