Miwa Higashimori rides online notoriety to launch gravure fame
We are suckers for people being famous for no reason — especially if they are hot girls and make the most out of it.
Born in 1991, Miwa Higashimori achieved minor online notoriety in 2014 during what is called a hoso-jiko or “broadcast accident.”
NHK was doing a live broadcast of Omotesando in the heart of Tokyo in May 2014 after Tokyo was hit by an earthquake.
She happened to be caught on camera, walking around drunk in the afternoon and sharing a smoke with some admiring men on the street at the main intersection.
Higashimori was actually a model and C-list tarento, but she then used her brief online infamy to good effect in her career.
She had already joined the entertainment industry as a child model in 1999 but her window of fame in May 2014 got her a contract with an agency.
She transformed herself into a gravure model, launching a sexy DVD in late 2014.
She also posed for a series of hot shots showing off her great body.
Since then the savvy Miwa has become involved with the food business, fronting cream bun products and also developing them for a company. Well, we doubt Miwa is going to achieve much more any time soon but we will still admire her body.
