When will Japan ”get with the program” and do away with the mosaic? Uncensored vids can be bought, why not just scrap the censorship thing?

It’s kinda the law here (well, actually, the law is very ambiguous). Interestingly it was “inspired” by Christian-style morals imported from the west, so you know who to thank! We also don’t know why it persists and it is very strange when you consider that Japan has possibly the biggest relative porn industry in the world!

But I guess now it has become its an aesthetic in its own right. In other words, porn-viewers are used to it and it’s how people “see” sex.

Besides, do you really need to see vaginas and cocks in close-up to enjoy the sex?
