Hot Japanese TV announcers: An incomplete list!

Following reader Uego Munst’s recent request, we’ve put together a collection of some Japanese “announcer” (TV presenter) hotties.

First up, everyone’s woman of the moment — Yuko Aoki (b. 1983), who recently got married is rumored to be getting married.

Yoshie Takeuchi (b. 1986) is apparently super popular in China right now and with her chipper, girl-next-door looks, we can see why.

Tomoko Kogou was born in 1978 and works for NHK. She’s more the thinking man’s crumpet kind of lady.

A younger lady is Mai Yamagishi (b. 1987), a TV presenter with a touch of the gyaru and idol about her.

She moonlights as a fashion model as well.

Lastly, a personal favorite, Yuriko Shimazu (b. 1974), an NHK announcer (and she speaks English!). Pity she’s married.

    I don’t think Aoki Yuuko has married yet. Rumours about marrying and retiring are plenty around but nothing official.

    @funuke

    That’s true! Yes, there are lots of rumors around but she’s being officially denying them. Still hope for us yet.

    Thank you for the list. There’s nothing hotter than intelligent women in a business jacket. Perfect balance of sexiness and sophistication. And, of course, you wonder what she’s wearing underneath.
